MSU Baroda Jobs Eligibility criteria, Selection Procedure & Other Details :

Educational Qualification :

Programme Officer : 1. A Good Academic Record and a Master’s
Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an
equivalent Grade in a point scale wherever
Grading system is followed or its Equivalent
Grade of B in the Seven Point Scale as per
UGC norms in any discipline from a recognized
University. (5% Relaxation for those candidates
who have relevant and specific experience in
University/College Academic Administration
preferably in the Higher education field of
similar nature as well as for those falling under
SC/ST category as per reservation norms.)
2. At least TWO Years of relevant and specific
experience in University/College Academic
Administration preferably in the Higher
education field of similar nature in the
University/Organization/Institute is mandatory.
The certificate along with nature of work
executed shall be required to be submitted from
the competent authority/officer without which
the application may not be entertained.
 Five years of experience in supervisory level in
University/College
Administration/Establishment/Examination/
Academic Section/Accounts Department of the
University holding analogous Post or an
equivalent Post is desirable.
 Academic Administration in the fields/Section/
Department/ Cell etc. such as Accounts and
Finance, Journalism, Corporate
Communications and Linguistic Skills,
Counseling, Computer Science, Computer
Engineering and Information Technology,
Business Management, Human Resource
Management, Quality Assurances/Cells etc.
shall be preferred.
 Knowledge of Computer Applications
(Word/Excel etc.) is mandatory.
Student Counselor : 1. An applicant must possess the Post-Graduation
Degree in Social Sciences (Preferably Psychology) with Minimum 55% of marks OR
equivalent cumulative Grade point Average
(CGPA) (wherever Grading System is followed)
at Post Graduation Level.
2. Proficiency in Gujarati/Hindi/English is
essential.
3. An experience of at least One
Year of dealing with the
Students Grievances is desirable.
4. Computer literacy is desirable
Accounts Assistant :1. M.Com. with Accounting & Financial Management
or equivalent from commerce stream with at least
50% of marks.CA/CS/CWA Intermediate shall be preferable.
2.Having experience of at least 2 years (completion of
article- ship is to be considered as part of experience).
3.Work experience in educational institution/college
shall be preferred.
4.Computer Literacy and working Knowledge of MS
Office, Tally ERP, MS Excel is preferred.
Knowledge of Income Tax/GST/TDS/EPF is highly
desirable.
5.Good Communication and Writing Skills

Experience in Teching:-
